The Premier League 2023/24 season is well and truly underway and we are slowly approaching the Christmas period. By Christmas the storylines begin to get written for which teams will be likely to go down, reach top four and top the Prem table. Between now and then, clubs will be looking to get as many points as possible to put themselves in good stead before the New Year.

This Premier League preview of the upcoming Gameweek 10 will break down the exciting list of fixtures we can expect to see this weekend, and Bob of Balls Out Bet will do his usual task of picking out a player to be carded, a player to score, a correct full time score prediction, and then compile a 10-fold acca of some realistic yet well-priced selections.

In the Gameweek 10 Premier League preview by Balls Out Bet, our in-house tipster, Bob, will do his usual and examine all of the games, providing you with a brief overview of each fixture and then a correct score prediction, a goalscorer prediction, a player to be carded, and then his most confident pick that will be combined into the weekly acca bet.

Crystal Palace vs Tottenham Hotspur (27th October, 20:00 pm)

First up is Crystal Palace vs Tottenham Hotspur; these two London clubs will face off in what we expect to be a good game of football. Tottenham Hotspur have started this season brilliantly currently sitting top of the table and still remaining unbeaten. Tottenham have a new lease of life under Ange Postecoglou and we expect them to beat the currently mid-table Crystal Palace, although the early kickoff has a tendency to be a weird result.

Correct Score: We think the game will end 2-0 to Spurs

Player to be Carded: We think Jefferson Lerma looks good for a card

Anytime Goalscorer: We think Heung-Min Son will score anytime

Accumulator Selection: Over 1.5 Goals

Chelsea vs Brentford (28th October, 12:30pm)

Chelsea vs Brentford will see another two London clubs face off this weekend. Chelsea have had an underwhelming start to this season, however, it does appear that all their new signings are starting to click as they have won three of their last four games and have even drawn against Arsenal after taking an early lead. Brentford, however, will be a very tough test for the young Chelsea side.

Correct Score: We think the game will end 2-1 to Chelsea

Player to be Carded: We think Mathias Jensen looks good for a card

Anytime Goalscorer: We think Cole Palmer will score anytime

Accumulator Selection: Over 2.5 Goals

Arsenal vs Sheffield United (28th October, 15:00 pm)

This fixture for many people is over before it has even started. Sheffield United sit bottom of the league having not won a game while Arsenal are third and remain unbeaten. We can see this game being a return to form for Arsenal as they will aim to comfortably beat the newly promoted side.

Correct Score: We think the game will end 4-0 to Arsenal

Player to be Carded: We think Gustavo Hamer looks good for a card

Anytime Goalscorer: We think Eddie Nketiah will score anytime

Accumulator Selection: Arsenal to Win

Bournemouth vs Burnley (28th October, 15:00 pm)

The home side are still without a win in nine games while Burnley recently picked up their first three points when they beat Luton Town. We believe this game could go either way, Bournemouth are dramatically underperforming this year and have the better quality in their side, however, their form does not reflect this. Burnley on the other hand while struggling for points have been known for their attractive football under Kompany and this could be the perfect game to show it off.

Correct Score: We think the game will end 3-1 to Bournemouth

Player to be Carded: We think Josh Brownhill looks good for a card

Anytime Goalscorer: We think Dominic Solanke will score anytime

Accumulator Selection: Bournemouth Over 1.5 Team Goals

Wolves vs Newcastle (28th October, 17:30pm)

Wolves have started this season quite well under Gary O’Neil despite losing a lot of their better players. They have even been able to beat treble-winners Manchester City recently and have many in-form players such as Pedro Neto and Hwang. However, Newcastle are undoubtedly the better side. We think it will be a tough game for the visitors but one they will ultimately win.

Correct Score: We think the game will end 3-1 to Newcastle

Player to be Carded: We think Mario Lemina looks good for a card

Anytime Goalscorer: We think Callum Wilson will score anytime

Accumulator Selection: Newcastle to Win

West Ham vs Everton (29th October, 13:00 pm)

West Ham have started this season very well after having a midfield reshuffle due to the sale of Declan Rice. Players like Alvarez, Ward Prowse and Paqueta have all hit the ground running this season and turned West Ham into a force to be reckoned with. Everton on the other hand are struggling yet again and although they have been able to pull out some performances this season we don’t think they will be able to against the hammers.

Correct Score: We think the game will end 2-1 to West Ham

Player to be Carded: We think Jarrad Branthwaite looks good for a card

Anytime Goalscorer: We think Jarrod Bowen will score anytime

Accumulator Selection: Over 2.5 Goals

Brighton vs Fulham (29th October 14:00 pm)

Brighton are a team that this season have been great at scoring goals and not so great at keeping them out of their own net. Fulham on the other hand have had an average start to the season and currently sit thirteenth. Brighton play amazing football and so we think they will dispatch of Fulham quite easily, however if Fulham are able to be tight defensively they could nick a goal and win this fixture.

Correct Score: We think the game will end 2-1 to Brighton

Player to be Carded: We think Timothy Castagne looks good for a card

Anytime Goalscorer: We think Kaoru Mitoma will score anytime

Accumulator Selection: Brighton Over 1.5 Team Goals

Aston Villa vs Luton Town (29th October, 14:00 pm)

Aston Villa have been incredible under Emery and they have carried their good form into this season and have so far scored the second most goals in the league. Luton, on the other hand, have only won one game. Luton had zero expectation from Premier League fans coming into the season and they have started off the season well by those standards, however in comparison to Aston Villa they dramatically lack the quality in their squad to compete with them.

Correct Score: We think the game will end 4-1 to Aston Villa

Player to be Carded: We think Marvelous Nakamba looks good for a card

Anytime Goalscorer: We think Ollie Watkins will score anytime

Accumulator Selection: Aston Villa to Win

Liverpool vs Nottingham Forest (29th October, 14:00 pm)

At Anfield we can see this game being very cut and dry. Liverpool have an amazing attack and we can foresee them having the opportunity to take full advantage of it against Nottingham Forest this weekend.

Correct Score: We think the game will end 3-0 to Liverpool

Player to be Carded: We think Murillo looks good for a card

Anytime Goalscorer: We think Darwin Nunez will score anytime

Accumulator Selection: Liverpool to Win

Manchester United vs Manchester City (29th October, 15:30pm)

This is the big one, the Manchester derby, a match which is filled with passion and drama every single year. Despite Manchester City running away from Manchester United in terms of quality they are still usually able to put up a great game, as seen with last year’s home game where Manchester United were able to win 2-1. Manchester United come into this game having won their last three while Manchester City come into this game having lost two of their last three Premier League matches. If Manchester United are going to beat Manchester City it would be now as everything is in their favour, however, even with that being the case Manchester City are so good we wouldn’t be surprised if they won this game comfortably.

Correct Score: We think the game will end 3-2 to Manchester City

Player to be Carded: We think Sofyan Amrabat looks good for a card

Anytime Goalscorer: We think Bruno Fernandes will score anytime

Accumulator Selection: BTTS & Over 2.5 Goals
