Domestic Football Leagues

There are many domestic football leagues across the countries with football leagues in Europe and the world each with their own set of high quality, and highly competitive teams. These leagues make for great entertainment and every year provide viewers with thrill, excitement and drama.

The top Leagues around the world include the La Liga, Serie A, Bundesliga, Premier League, Ligue 1 and the MLS. La Liga is one of the most famous leagues in the world and has been the home of one of the fiercest rivalries in world football, known as the El Classico. In previous years,

The Spanish La Liga has been home to the Galacticos, treble winning Barcelona sides and the only place to watch two of the best players to ever play the game battle it out in Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi. Now the landscape is different but just as exciting and competitive. This season we have a young Real Madrid side, a Barcelona team with Lewandowski leading the line, as well as a competitive Atletico Madrid and Real Sociedad team.

The Serie A is one of the most competitive leagues in the world ever since Juventus’ downfall with at least 5 teams gunning for the title every season. This season will surely be no different and will be one to watch.

The English Premier League is one of the, if not the best league in the world. Home to historic footballing giants and recent treble winners Manchester City it is a must watch season for any fan of English football or football in general.

The Bundesliga and France’s Ligue 1 are also very exciting leagues with high quality teams and players. Both these leagues are typically dominated by 1 team being PSG and Bayern Munchen but in recent times teams have gotten very close to knocking them off their pedestal. Two years ago Lille OSC won the Ligue 1 for example.

The MLS functions differently to these leagues and for that reason it is a very interesting league to discover. With the likes of Lionel Messi and Busquets playing there next season it’s a fantastic watch and with 29 teams there is so much football to enjoy.

European Football League Competitions

The European competitions bring together the best of the best. These competitions allow the very best teams in the world to compete and show off their qualities in some very exciting knockout football.

The Champions League is the top trophy in world football. The Champions League is the trophy every player dreams of winning. The Europa League is for teams who just missed out of qualifying for the Champions League and provides an excellent opportunity for top teams to verse other teams from around Europe and potentially earn some silverware.

The same applies to the Conference League. Despite the stigma surrounding the Conference league it is still a fantastic competition that allows some of the teams that would not usually qualify for the Champions League to experience the thrill of participating in a European competition.
