Fiorentina History

Fiorentina was founded in 1926 by a group of Florentine businessmen who wanted to create a new football club in the city. The team played its first official match in 1928 and quickly established itself as one of the top teams in Italy, winning its first Serie A title in 1956. Fiorentina has a long and storied history in Italian football, and the team has competed in the top division for most of its history. Fiorentina’s current manager, Vincenzo Italiano, has a great record of 44 wins and 14 draws out of his 85 games in charge of the Violas. He has the chance to bring home the 2nd Europa Conference League trophy to ever be won. The club actually had to be refounded in 2002 after bankruptcy struck the owners and the club itself, although the ethics and all other aspects remained the same after this.

From the shoulders up, there was a pattern which included purple crosses, and in between the crosses were black lines which accidentally formed the Nazi symbol. After playing only 4 games in the kit, the club was eventually banned from playing in it.

Fiorentina 2023/24 Season Predictions

This season, we predict Fiorentina will push for European spots. They have a very good squad with enough quality to push the top end of the table. However, the Serie A is a very competitive league, and therefore, there will most likely be other teams that will finish higher, such as the Milan clubs, Napoli, Atalanta, Juventus and Roma.
